the Skein is hand dyed in Indigo dye and rinsed once and then given a vingar wash dip to prevent less bleeding.
1 skien will do 24 sets of tassels ( of 4 in a set) using 50″ length cords
notes on shade..: you can request light or dark, but generally the shade will determine the strength of the dye vat as far as the darkness of the shade of indigo.
on the average the shade will be in the mid range.. and all shades fade in time, wear and through washings.
